Thanksgiving Day Rush

I don't know what it is about Thanksgiving Day, but you humans sure do love your food and parades.  It's very hectic in the Mines this time of year as well.  What, with all the last minute checking and double checking, it's enough to make someone go bonkers!  I suppose the same holds true for you guys as well.  There's much to prepare for.  Shopping, wrapping, cooking, baking, mining... call it what you will, there are so many rituals and ceremonial-like goings on in order to get ready for that one special day.

So, as I was surfing the world wide web (do you people even call it that anymore?)  I stumbled across this cute little recipe.  My world is surrounded by coal... actual COAL... but if you were thinking of bringing some of my world into yours, here's a recipe for some homemade candy coal.  Even if your loved ones were good this year and are definitely on the nice list, wouldn't this be a funny little reminder that they COULD be on the naughty list?

Believe it or not, this is a picture of CANDY... check out the Sprinkle Bakes site to see how it's done!
